Question

I had received a letter that my tax return would be held for 60 days.. I received my state return last week. When should I expect my federal?

Unfortunately, only the IRS can tell you what all they are doing with your return.  And for the time being, their call centers are essentially shut down due to the Coronavirus situation.

 

Receiving your state refund has no impact in regard to the Federal refund, since those are 2 separate tax agencies.
