Question
I had to have an amendment done to my taxes which was caused by a mistake the "tax expert" who originally prepared my return and Turbotax is refusing to refund me.
A "tax expert" said a preliminary 10-99 DIV was fine to file my return with. I received a refund from this filed tax return. A month later, I get the actual 10-9 DIV. I call Turbotax and they say I need to file an amendment. I did this, which for some reason took several weeks. Then when I go to file the amendment I have to pay $158. I had full service and this mistake was created by the Turbotax expert, not by me. Where is this promise they will get it 100% right?
