Question

I had you deduct my filing fees from my return, then direct deposit remainder to me. Will I get stimulus direct deposited to my account still?

I had you take the filing fees out, and then send the remainder of my return as a direct deposit to me. Being that you guys had the money before it got to my account, will the IRS be sending the stimulus check to my account? Or did it go to a different account so you could take your fees first, and that will make stimulus money not go to my account?

We are still waiting for IRS guidance regarding updating or providing direct deposit information for the stimulus payments and how they will be distributed to these type of accounts.

We will have more information once the government finalizes the details.

You couldn't still be waiting on direction from the IRS considering other people have already received their stimulus. Please inform your customers correctly

If your tax return has your personal bank information that was used to either receive a direct deposit of your refund or was used to pay your tax due then the IRS has your bank information to use for your direct deposit of your stimulus check.
