I have already filed and received my refund,now I got a schedule K-1 in mail what does this mean? Do I have to amemd?

it means you have an interest in an S-corporation (1120s-k-1), estate or trust (1041-k-1) or a partnership (1065-K-1).

since you don't recognize it my guess is that through your broker you made an investment in a Publicly Traded Partnership or Master Limited Partnership (on the k-1Part I box D will be checked) and yes you need to amend your return to include it. the free edition will not work for k-1's so you'll have to upgrade

however, you should not amend until your original is fully processed.
