You are probably in the wrong account.  We can tell you how to recover your account.  But TurboTax will not know where your refund is.  Only the IRS is in control.  Or was your return rejected?  If so you can still e-file up to October 15, 2019.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax?  If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.

When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say that your return was submitted.  The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected.  If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.

First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

If the IRS accepted it, what does it say here?

https://www.irs.gov/refunds           Or does your account say “Ready to Mail?”

If your return was accepted, you need to use the EXACT amount of your refund from line 20a  of your Form 1040 when you track it on the IRS site.
