Question

I have already filed, paid, and it has been accepted (federal). I had to amend, but it is not letting me. I had to add my 1098-E. It lets me, but will not file.

You must print and mail an amendment. They can not be efiled.

You can check the status of your amended return here, but allow several weeks after filing for it to show up.
