Question

I have been trying to add 8962 and i have tried everything to try and get it done it doesn't need to be amended the paper work it stated managed your 1040

I also got a letter from the IRS asking me to submit form 8962 (which is far more complicated than the previous year). From what I was told, you will go to the “Amend return” option in TurboTax, BUT DONT SUBMIT IT. You have to print it and fax it to the IRS. Unfortunately, I also found that TurboTax STILL doesn’t have the updated 2019 Amend form and they aren’t expecting it til mid March. Total Bs when they give you the option to pay extra for a premium service when the services aren’t even available.

If you received a letter from the IRS for a Form 8962, you do Not need to amend the tax return.
