I have filed my taxes. It was accepted February 26. Why have I not recieved my return yet

IRS says 21 days to recieve your return. Why is it taking longer after IRS accepted it.

The IRS goal is 21 days, but it is taking longer. The IRS is seriously backlogged due to all the extra stimulus filings, as well as a few million unprocessed 2019 returns left over from the COVID shutdown. Contacting the IRS will not help, and it has implored taxpayers not to call. Lots of other folks are still waiting, so please continue to be patient. Also see:
