Question

I have to amend my taxes paid to fed. I took a picture of my w2 and what I paid to social security went into fed tax paid line (not sure why). Please help.

When you import information it is your responsibility to make sure the info is imported correctly ... due to the various W-2 formats in use the "picture" doesn't always capture the info correctly. After you start the amendment process return to the W2 input screen and make the needed corrections IF the IRS has not done so yet ... do NOT amend the return until you get the original refund.
