Neither the IRS nor your state share any information with TurboTax after you file your tax return.  TurboTax cannot intercede with the state for you.   Make sure the state e-file was accepted, and pursue information from your state.

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities,  There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals.

Yes, if you haven't received your 2022 federal tax refund, you can check on that here. Be sure to select 2022 and provide the information from that return.

If you are missing your Massachusetts refund, follow this link to get information.

If neither system has information about your 2022 tax refunds you may not have submitted it for e-file, or it may been rejected and you never fixed it. In either case, you need to print and in your 2022 to get your refund. To get a copy of your 2022 return in TurboTax:

  1. Sign in to the account you used in 2022.
  2. Scroll down to Your tax returns and documents at the bottom.
  3. Select 2022.
  4. You will see the final status of your 2022 return and if you finished them, you can print a copy.
