Question

I itemized my deductions on my return but the system doesn't add it and I qualify for all of them... What do I do?

Your itemized deductions may have not exceeded the standard deduction amount for 2019.  When you prepare and e-File your 2019 Tax Return using TurboTax , the program  will work for your benefit and either apply or recommend standard deductions or itemized deductions. calculated within the program.  

 

 In 2019 the standard deduction is $12,200 for single filers and married filers filing separately, $24,400 for married filers filing jointly and $18,350 for heads of household.
