Question

I just got a 1099 MISC after having filed my federal and state returns. How do I amend my 2024 returns and resubmit?

    Wait until the original returns have processed. 

    If the state and IRS do not correct for the missing 1099-MISC, file an amended return. 

     

    If the state or IRS corrects either original return, they will send you a letter asking if you agree with the changes they suggest.
