I just realized after filing 2020 that there is a miss spelling in my wifes name

The misspelled name may cause your return to be rejected since it will not match the Social Security records.  If it does reject, just correct the spelling before you resubmit your return.

 

If it does not reject, be sure to correct it next year when you start your return for 2021.
