Solved

I just received a 1095-C form, but have already filed. I didn’t use healthcare from my employer. Do I stand to benefit from an amendment or should I just keep the form?

I understand that having and using the healthcare you paid for does not stand to affect your return. However, I was still under my parents’ health insurance at the time and did not use it. There are 6 payments of $85 on the 1095-C and I just need clarification that an amendment to my taxes would/would not affect my tax return. Thank you!

You do not need to amend your return if you marked on your tax return that you were covered by health insurance. The IRS does not require any information from forms 1095-C. And it will not affect your tax return.
