I just tried amending my 2023 return, and it says "pending" for some. How do I get the PDF forms?

I did an amended return and it says "pending" for federal and one of my states and "Approved" for other state. However, I cannot print the forms. It says use a .tax file to amend now, but it doesn't upload anything. How do I just get the PDF Forms showing I amended and I can mail what I need to?

Pending is just a status that means the e-file is still in process and waiting on the taxing agency. Please see this FAQ for more details. Make sure you wait until the amended state return is either accepted or rejected before mailing anything in to avoid delays in processing your amended return.

If the return is rejected, you can follow the steps in this link to print and mail your amendment.
