I keep getting Reject Code R0000-500-01 even though everything is correct

Reject Code R0000-500-01 means my Social and last name are incorrect even though on the form they're both correct. I need help. I've had my taxes rejected for the same reason 3 times

If the name and SSN match what is on your Social Security card then:

Then there is probably and error in the IRS database or the Social Security Administration database that the IRS gets the data.

You need to contact the SSA to make sure their database is correct and have it corrected if wrong.. You will only be able to paper file this year.
