Question

I'm just trying to understand where my refund is. I keep getting notifications that it's here but there's nothing in my account. So I'm confused. Why am I being lied to?

If you have tracked your return using the Where's My Refund? site and you show a direct deposit date, it should tell you what to do if you don't receive your refund within a certain amount of days. You would want to contact your banking institution to check on your refund. You may want to call the IRS directly, or if you selected to use your refund to pay for your TurboTax fees, the refund and processing would be handled by Santa Barbara Tax Payers Group.
