I made some mistakes on my 2015 taxes. I don't know If i should amends them or just make sure i do this year right?

If there are mistakes on your 2015 return, you will need to amend to make the corrections/additions. You cannot put any 2015 information on your 2016 return.

And if you filed your 2015 return with TurboTax, you can go here https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/3410543 and get instructions for amending that 2015 return.

NOTE: Amended returns will need to be mailed since they cannot be e-filed. If you did not file your 2015 return with TurboTax, you can go here on the IRS website https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs and print the 2015 forms to complete and mail.
