I mailed in my state return but it shows turbo tax is keeping the money aside.. how do I get my state money back that I paid

What? Where do you think it shows "turbo tax is keeping the money aside" ?

Did you try to pay a state tax due by entering a credit/debit account for the state tax due and you expected the state to pull the payment? Most states will not do that. Most states want to be paid by check or money order or by payment on the state web site. TurboTax does not have your money. If it has not been pulled out by the state then use an alternate method to pay the state.
