Question

I mailed in my tax return in April, and IRS.gov is still saying they have no record of anything. The stimulus check tracker says the same thing. What can I do?

I'm not sure where to go from here. I know there is a delay in mailed in returns but I thought there would at least be an update by now. I don't know what to do next, like how do I go about even finding out if they received it?

The IRS has not processed paper tax returns for several months due to the pandemic. They have only just recently started processing those tax returns in the order received.
