I mailed my Amended Federal Tax refund in on March 2nd. When or how can I see an update on my return?

It will likely take several months. The "normal" amount of time it takes to get a refund for an amended return is about four months, and during the pandemic it has been taking a lot longer. Do not expect quick results when you amend. If you are getting a refund it will be by a check mailed to your address; the IRS does not make direct deposits for amended returns.
