If you have already e-filed your tax return, there's no getting it back.  The IRS isn't accepting returns just yet, so there's a possibility that your return will be rejected once it's reviewed.  But for now, there's nothing you need to do.

The IRS won't begin accepting returns until the end of January.  Watch your email to see if your return is returned or rejected.  If the return is rejected, it's as if you never filed it at all.  IF that happens, you can make corrections to the return before e-filing it again.  If it's accepted by the IRS, you'll have to wait until the return is processed and then file an amended 2020 tax return.  That, too, will be available much later in the tax season.

Please explain what you did.  We cannot see your screen or your tax return.  Did you e-file a tax return?

Did you click that big orange button that said “Transmit my return now?”
