I missed up big time and this was my first time filling

Yes, any mistakes you made on your tax return can be fixed by filing an amended return. 

The first step is to make sure you‌ submitted your return and it's been accepted.

Here's how to do that:

1. Sign in to TurboTax. 
2. If you've submitted your return, you'll see "Pending", "Rejected", or "Accepted" status. In that case, you will need to wait until your return is accepted or rejected to make changes. Find out more about that. 
3. If your return was "Rejected", select Fix My Return, follow the prompts to correct the return, and make any other corrections you need to make before submitting your return for e-file. 
4. If you haven't submitted your return yet, you'll see Let's keep working on your taxes! 
5. Select My Info and Review/ Edit.
6. Select Edit to the right your name.
7. Continue through the screens and make the corrections you need to make.
