I mistakenly checked checking account instead of savings for my direct deposit but accounts and routing numbers are correct? Will my refund be delayed and sent by mail?

In most cases, as long as your Routing Number and Account Number are correct, your refund will not be delayed or sent by mail.
However, to be on the safe side, you could always contact your bank and inform them of the issue.
