I need a copy of my actual tax return that was sent (long form im told) to the IRS, not a 1040 summary.

You got the same answer to both questions, from two different people. If the instructions that we referred you to are not giving you what you want, maybe you need to describe in more detail what you are looking for and why you need it, or who is asking you for it.

Form 1040 is the "long form." It is not a summary. But TurboTax automatically uses the simplest form that you qualify for. If there was nothing in your tax return that required Form 1040, your tax return might have been filed on Form 1040A or Form 1040EZ. In that case, the Form 1040A or 1040EZ is what was sent to the IRS.
