I need assistance on a recent audit for a 2017 tax return in regards to business expenses

Did you get an IRS letter about your 2017 return?    What type--there should be a CP or LTR number in the right corner.

 

Is the IRS alleging anything in particular, or do they just want documentation of your expenses?   Do they narrow it down to any particular type of business expenses?   What do they ask you to do?

 

Did you purchase the optional Audit Defense or MAX product?  If so, we can tell you how to contact the company that handles that (intuit.taxaudit.com).
