@nelsond911 When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say that your return was submitted.  The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected.  If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.

First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/

If the IRS accepted it, what does it say here?

https://www.irs.gov/refunds           Or does your account say “Ready to Mail?”

If you already e-filed your tax return. Your e-file status will show the date you transmitted your return and if it was accepted or rejected. Both your Federal and State will be listed separately if you filed both.

Click on the (blue hyperlink) e-file status lookup tool to check your status.

Your return's electronic filing status history records all e-filing activity related to the return, including the Electronic Postmark. You can print it out if needed.

TurboTax Online

https://shop.turbotax.intuit.com/efile/efile_status_lookup.jsp  -- enter the Social Security number of the first taxpayer on the return and the ZIP code to retrieve your filing status history.

TurboTax CD/Download software

(Windows) From the TurboTax File menu, select Electronic Filing > Show Electronic Filing Status History.
(Mac) From the TurboTax File menu, select Check E-Filing Status.

That link you gave just goes to a page with information. There is no field to put in your SS number.

  • What page shows proof that I filed my income taxes in 2019, is it the 1040?

You can look on the IRS site after you set up an account :    https://www.irs.gov/payments/view-your-tax-account

Once your returns are accepted, only the IRS and the state knows when you will receive your refund. The IRS does not provide your refund status to TurboTax.

You can check the IRS website Where's My Refund for your federal information.

If you have a state refund, visit the How do I track my state refund page, and then select your state.
