I need to add a state to my 2020 tax return that has already been filed. How do I navigate online to do this? I tried amending my return but I never saw "Add a State".

If you already paid for the state program there is no need to pay again.

Using the TurboTax desktop edition for 2020 you may have to start a fake tax return.  Click on File>New Tax Return

Then see if you can download the state software.

If the state program still cannot be downloaded contact TurboTax support for assistance.
