I need to amend my 2020 return: It's been accepted by the IRS, but it hasn't hit my direct deposit yet (the expected date for the refund was 3/4/21). what do i do

Before starting to amend the tax return, wait for the tax refund to be received or the taxes due to be paid and processed by the IRS.
