I need to amend my 2023 1040 because I used the wrong filing status. I filed as Single instead of Head of Household. How can I change this in the online 1040X form?

If you want to change or correct some info on a prior-year (2023) tax return after you've filed, including from single to Head of Household here are some things to know before you begin:
Wait until your return has been accepted (or mailed, if paper-filing).
Use the same TurboTax account you used to file your original return.
Once you begin your amendment, you'll see your original return. Be sure to only make changes to the areas of your return that need amending. The refund calculator will start new at $0 and only reflect the changes in the refund or tax due.
Any changes you make to amend your federal return will automatically be transferred over to your state return.
Log in to the TurboTax account you used for your 2023 tax filing.
On the Tax Home screen, scroll down to Your tax returns & documents and select the year you want to amend.
Select the Amend (change) return dropdown, then Amend using TurboTax Online. If you're told to amend your return via TurboTax Desktop, follow the steps for TurboTax Desktop instead.
Once in TurboTax Amend - here is how to Change Your Filing Status:
Navigate to the "My Info" section.
Select your name, then "Edit."
Continue through until you reach the question about filing status
Change your filing status to Head of Household and follow the prompts to update your information.
I tried that, but there is no where to change the filing status. It asks me my marital status (divorced) and I have one dependent, but there is no field to change my filing status from Single to Head of Household.
@lauramuckell If you enter a qualified dependent the software will offer HOH as a filing status. But ----who is the dependent? Some people can be dependents for the $500 credit, but still not be "qualified" dependents for HOH filing status. For example, a GF or BF or their child cannot be your qualified dependent for HOH filing status.
If you qualify as Head of Household, when you enter your marital status (single or married filing separately) into MyInfo, and then enter your qualifying dependent, TurboTax will offer HOH as your filing status.
