I need to amend my taxes and i am waiting for my forms. i have been accepted so whats taking so long for my forms

First of all if your return has only been "accepted" it is too soon to amend.  You WAIT until it has been fully processed.

The Form 1040X that you need to fix your mistake will be available about February 22.
