Question

I need to amend my taxes from 2018 and 2019, but I filed for free in both years...

It says that "Amending a prior year return is not currently supported by IRS Free File Program delivered by TurboTax". How can I get around this? I'm willing to pay for it but I cannot figure out how to set that up...

You will buy and install the desktop version for each year.. Then use your original return or transcript to type in the return exactly as you filed it.

Then you will tell TurboTax to print the return to mail.  Once that is done, you can go back and do the amend, print, sign, and mail it along with any documents needed for the amend.  The cover sheet of the amend will tell you which documents to send and give you the address to mail the amend,
