I need to ammend by Fed only return for 2024, but turbo tax keeps wanting to charge for State that I do not need to amend. How do I fix this?

When you complete your federal amended return, you should be able to go to "File section" (File Tab) of TurboTax and skip the state section and only e-file your amended federal return.  

You are able to amend your Federal return only in TurboTax, however often when amending your Federal return it requires an amendment to your state return as well. 

Sometimes when amending your return, this will result in an additional cost because you have to upgrade to a different version of TurboTax. You can click here to  review your fees. This will show you all of your charges associated with your amended return.
