I need to congirm and possibly change the direct deposit info on my 2020 federal return

if submitted the return at this point can't be recalled. the IRS won't open e-filing until 2/12/2021. so you'll have to wait. if your return is rejected you can fix it and resubmit. if it is accepted the IRS will send the refund to the account on the return. if that a/c isn't valid, the check will be returned to the IRS and they will mail out a check to the address on the return.
