i need to correct an entry on my return before I file and need some help

i erroroneously check a box indicating I have a foreign investment account

    Did you enter any 1099 forms that would indicate you have foreign accounts?    Go back to the wages and income section; you can check your answer to that question in TurboTax by returning to the income section.   

     

    When you are on the Personal Income or Wages & Income (depending on which version you are using) page, scroll all the way down to the bottom and click on Continue or Done with Personal Income.   The next questions will be about:

     

    1. foreign accounts, 
    2. disaster distributions, and then, 
    3. digital assets.

Capital Loss Carryover 
Less Common Investments and Savings 1099-010 contracts and straddles, etc. 
Retirement Plans and Social Security 1099-R, IRAs, 401(k), early withdrawals 
Rentals, Royalties, and Farm Income and expenses from rentals, patents, oil/mineral rights, and farm 
Other Business Situations Estimated tax payments, self-employed retirement and health insurances, losses, etc.
