I need to do amendment, I entered new W2, where do I enter 1099 misc information?

Do I need to add 1099 misc information in addition to the W2 for when doing an amendment?

    If the 1099-MISC was already entered, you do not need to re-enter for an amendment. It will already be accounted for in the amendment.  However, if the 1099-MISC was missed when you originally filed, you can add it now. 

     

    Here is how to report the 1099-MISC:

     

    • Navigate to Federal > Wages & Income > Other Common Income> Form 1099-MISC> Start or Revisit
    • Enter the 1099-MISC as printed, Continue and answer all the questions in the interview
