I need to enter my 1095-A information on an amended return and it's not prompting the questions that I'm finding in this search. Only has my personal info. Where do I go?

Please keep in mind when handling the 8962 form. You will not need to amend your return but will use the add a state workaround to get back into the return and provide the IRS with the 2nd page of their 1040.

• Respond promptly. 

  • If you disagree with the IRS, respond with an explanation—and with the item(s) they're requesting. 

• You don't need to complete or send a Form 1040X (amended tax return) to the IRS. 

  • Send page 2 of your 1040 only if the refund or owed amount has changed.
