I need to file an amended return for 2022 using the desktop version (IOS) of turbotax, not using a turbotax account, how do I do this?

How do I amend my return using the turbotax desktop version and not an account?

Do not amend until your original return has been fully processed to avoid unnecessary delays. 

See this TurboTax FAQ for help with amending. You will select the version you are using for the correct instruction.

You can e-file your 2022 amended federal tax return, but most states require amendments to be printed and filed by mail.

You can check the status of your amended return here, but allow three weeks after filing for it to show up.

You used the CD/download? If your original return has been fully processed and you need to amend 2022, go to Federal ---then go to Other Tax Situations> Then scroll down that screen to Other Tax Forms>Amend a return

IOS refers to a mobile device like an iPad. You need a full Windows or Mac computer to install the Desktop CD/Download program. Did you actually use the Desktop program? Or just the app on your iPad?
