I need to have my tax return amended to include expenses that I forgot to include. i will contact turbo later today or early evening. Please do not file yet with IRS ?

Once you have e-filed your returns, if they are accepted, there is no way to stop the process. However, if they are rejected, you will be able to make any needed changes and resubmit your returns.

did you already transmit your return (efile)? If so you need to wait until it is accepted or rejected. Once transmitted you cannot stop it.

Amending is not that hard. See this FAQ for how to do it. But you must wait until the IRS accepts your return.
