I need to refile my tax return for the year 2012, as I had the wrong (previous state) address on file. How can I submit an amendment for 2012?

2012? Is that a typo? You said 2012 three times. Or do you really mean 2012----over twelve years ago? No, you cannot amend a 2012 tax return. It is far too late to amend 2012 and get a better refund.

2012? No you can’t amend 2012 with Turbo Tax. You would need to get the blank 1040X form from the IRS or go to a local tax place. Do t understand why you need to amend a very old return for the wrong address. Can you explain more?
