Question

I never got my 2019 taxes. I got a letter from the IRS saying I needed to show proof of my insurance and I sent it in December 2020 because of covid and I couldn't fax it

If you just sent the letter in December, it will be months before it is processed. The letter you received has a phone number. It would be advisable to make sure they received your letter/response, if you did not track it when mailed.
