I owed money to the IRS the last two years. So, if I paid the IRS electronically, do I have direct deposit set up to receive stimulus check?

If you have not received your direct deposit of your stimulus payment by the time the IRS activates their tool to be used for checking the status of your stimulus payment and updating your direct deposit information, I would recommend that you submit your direct deposit information there. (I have seen conflicting information about there being different permissions required for direct debit versus direct deposit and I am not a banking expert.)
