I paid my federal taxes and was supposed to get money back for my Arizona state taxes, but I was shorted $34 when it came in. Where did the $34 go?

Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund.

You should be receiving a letter in the mail from your state explaining what they changed on your state tax return that resulted in the lower state tax refund.

Or you can contact your state department of revenue to find out if they have an explanation.
