I paid taxes on Unemployment for 2020. The policy changed after I filed. Is there a time frame for when I'll get that portion refunded back?

My unemployment was under the threshold for the new policy and was told by TurboTax not to file an amendment.  Just curious if there is news on when this will get cleared up or if I should file the amended return.

No, do not file an amendment.  It looks like May is the timeframe for the adjusted refunds to be sent.  Here is a link with the latest news on the topic.
