According to IRS.gov, you can use the "Get My Payment" application (coming mid-April) to: Check your payment status Confirm your payment type: direct deposit or check Enter your bank account information for direct deposit if we don't have your direct deposit information and we haven't sent your payment yet.

Question

I pay in taxes so i'm not sure if my bank account is connected to the IRS and I was wondering how to find that out because I want to get my stimulus money quickly.

My account number on my direct deposit is not right what can I do

If your return has already been filed, and it's been accepted by the government, you won't be able to change your direct deposit information. If you have a refund coming, you'll receive a refund check instead of a direct deposit.

If your return is rejected or you have not yet filed, you can update your information in TurboTax by going to the File tab and updating your information before submitting the return.
