I purchased turbotax premier to download and file a prior year tax, but it is asking to pay for purchase premier again before filing?

Be sure you are not on the Online Version rather than the download from your purchase. Did you Sign in to your TurboTax account using the same login you used when you made your purchase?

I purchased a 2020 CD but discovered my computer does not have a CD player. I'd like to download a version and use the license number on my cd. Can you help me?

Yes, if you bought TurboTax CD version but your computer does not have CD drive you can download the software directly from TurboTax. You will need to set up a TurboTax account and have the license code on your CD box insert ready to complete the process.
