I was supposed to put 2016 when I signed on my document, but I put 2015 instead... I mailed them already and I just figured it out now. What should I do? Is IRS going to reject for the wrong date of the year?
The best option is to wait and see if the IRS sends you a letter asking you to make the correction. Not all small errors like that are required to be corrected and mailed back in.
