Question

I received a CP05 Letter asking for additional docs and business letterhead. I don't have it. I was mostly paid in cash. What do I do?

    Call the number on your notice or the IRS at 800-829-1040 between the hours of 7 AM - 7 PM local time, Monday through Friday to discuss your options since you don't have the information that they are requesting.

     

    Refer to the TurboTax article; I got a CP05 notice from the IRS and the IRS website Understanding your CP05 notice for information.
