The letter states my social security number, Payers Federal Identification number, and the total interest paid or credited for 2022. How do I report this on turbo tax

To enter your IRS interest form:

  1. Type 1099-int in the search box and click search.
  2. Click on Jump to 1099-int.
  3. On the landing screen, click on I'll type it in myself.
  4. Enter your IRS interest form and continue.
  5. Enter the Institution ( Internal Revenue Service ) Name.
  6. Enter your interest in Box 1 and any other information.

The IRS sends notices showing the amount of interest paid by them for the tax year ended just as banks and other institutions do.
