Question

I received my state and federal taxes and claimed my second stimulus and never received it. I don’t owe any money so I’m not sure why I haven’t received it?

Please be aware that the Recovery Rebate Credit amount was included in the total refund amount shown in TurboTax. Please check line 30 for the Recovery Rebate Credit and see line 34 for your total refund.

If your received refund is less than line 34 it might be that the IRS adjusted your Recovery Rebate Credit because their records show the stimulus payments as sent. If you received Notice 1444 in the mail but have not received your payment as mentioned in the notice, then you need to request a trace. Please see How do I request a payment trace to track my first or second Economic Impact Payments? for details.
